Public Works Street Maintenance << BACK The Street Maintenance Program includes general maintenance, repairs and improvements to the City’s roadways.  Maintenance activities are performed by contract and Public Works staff.  Maintenance activities include: Roadway and Pothole Repairs Traffic Signs Traffic Signals Roadway Markings and Striping In addition to the traditional street maintenance activities listed above, Public Works maintenance crews contribute time to major events in Carpinteria such as the Triathlon and Avocado Festival.  They also maintain the city-wide storm drain system, facilities such as City Hall and they assist in maintaining the City’s parks and the six public restrooms.
