The City of Carpinteria administers a variety of housing related programs which both build new housing and maintain existing housing stocks. The City works to identify potential locations for new or redeveloped housing, assist in development of low and moderate income housing, preserve and enhance existing housing, address constraints to housing development, and to promote housing for all persons.
The City of Carpinteria does not manage housing facilities or affordable housing projects. The City does not generally maintain lists of available housing. If you are interested in finding available rental or for sale housing, please contact local realty sources, or local news sources. If you are interested in finding low-income or Section 8 Housing opportunities, please contact the County of Santa Barbara Housing Authority. Should the City be involved in an affordable housing lottery, information will be posted on the Pending Affordable Housing Lottery Page
(Page Under
Construction).
