b.        Conoco-Phillips Two-Way Lot Split Time Extension - 08-1432-TEX

Hearing on the request of Mike McFarland, Tait and Associates, Inc., to consider Case No. 08-1432-TEX [application filed April 1, 2008] for a two-year time extension from the date of map expiration (May 1, 2008) to allow Tentative Parcel Map 25,173 to record.  The application involves APN 003-102-007, addressed as 4401 and 4405 Via Real.

NOTE:  This item will be dropped from the agenda and presented to the City Council.

 

c.         Soares Condominium Map - 08-1434-TPM/CDP

Hearing on the request of Harwood White, agent for the owners, to consider Case No. 08-1434-TPM/CDP (TPM 25,188) for a Tentative Parcel Map and a Coastal Development Permit [application filed April 16, 2008] for approval under Carpinteria Municipal Code Chapters 16 and 14 to divide the property into three residential condominium lots and one common open space lot in the Planned Residential Development (PRD) Zone District; and to accept the exemption pursuant to CEQA Guidelines §15315.  The application involves APN 003-490-003, addressed as 4815 Sandyland Road.

6.       PRESENTATIONS BY CITIZENS

This is a time for public comments on matters not otherwise on the agenda but within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Planning Commission.  Comments shall be limited to 15 minutes, divided among those persons desiring to speak, but no person shall speak longer than five minutes.  Persons wishing to speak on a specific item will be recognized at the time the agenda item is considered.

The City is not responsible for the content of statements made during the public comment period, or the factual accuracy of any such statements.

 

7.       CONTINUED PUBLIC HEARING

a.        Project:  Bouté Residence – 07-1413-DP/VAR/CDP

Hearing on the request of William Araluce, architect/agent for Dan Bouté, to consider Case No. 07-1413-DP/VAR/CDP [application filed December 17, 2007] for review of a Development Plan and Coastal Development Permit to demolish an existing single family residence and detached garage and construct a new 2,370 square foot two-story single family residence (including an attached 383 square foot two-car garage).  The requested Variance would reduce the front setback from the required 50 feet from street centerline to a minimum of 43 feet 11 inches from street centerline under the provisions of the Planned Residential Development (PRD-20) Zone District; and to accept the Exemption pursuant to §15301(l), 15303(a) and 15305(a) of the State Guidelines for Implementation of the California Environmental Quality Act.  The application involves APN 003-436-002, addressed as 4717 Dorrance Way.

b.   Conditional Use Permits Compliance Report

      The Planning Commission will receive a report regarding condition compliance for various Conditional Use Permits.
